Observers of the developments in financial services legislation in the EU are not necessarily interested in other topics that bodies such as ECOFIN deal with. So we have extracted just the parts of the official minutes (and background documents) that are relevant to financial services legislation. That may mean that for some meetings, there is a blank!
For the European Parliament's Committee meetings, we endeavour to provide our own notes of the relevant discussions rapidly. Later, we update these with extracts from any official documents. However, we encourage members who attended the meeting to use the facility to add their own comments to our "minutes". JURI and IMCO meetings will be covered ad hoc if there is a significant financial services interest and they also have the "Add a comment to this article" facility.
Background documents for a meeting are included with the meeting. We provide a separate document if there is substantial discussion that impacts a particular monitoring category and it will also be linked to that category.
