IOSCO held its annual conference in Mumbai, India from 9-12 April 2007. At the conclusion of the Conference,
IOSCO outlined the issues which represent the organization’s main areas of focus at this time. The document attached summarises the
IOSCO activities in different areas.
Among others, IOSCO announced:
a final paper on “Conflicts that arise in Securities Offerings” to be published during the second half of 2007.
a preliminary report for public consultation on “Point of Sale Disclosure” to be completed during 2008.
a final report on “Soft Commissions” to be published during the second half of 2007.
a final report on “Hedge Funds” will be published in due course.
