CESR issued an addendum to the consultation paper, released in October, on possible detailed technical measures needed to implement the proposed Directive on Prospectus to be published when securities are offered to the public or admitted to trading.
The addendum is a complementary paper and deals with the outstanding disclosure requirements that were not covered in the consultation paper released in October. In particular, the addendum deals with disclosure requirements specific to certain issuers or certain securities.
CESR invites responses to this consultation paper until 06 February namely on the information to be provided in the summary and in the base prospectus, the specific disclosure requirements on the guarantee and the guarantor, the proposal of a blanket clause and the working capital statement.
To facilitate the consultation process, CESR is planning to hold an open meeting on 24 January in Paris.
