The FSA published English translations of the Banking Act, the Financial Instruments and the Exchange Act, and the Insurance Business Act.
The FSA notes that only the original Japanese text of laws and regulations has legal effect. The translations are to be used solely as reference material to aid in the understanding of Japanese laws and regulations.
