Formal mandate to CESR on UCITS Directive

The Commission published the formal mandate to CESR on the clarification of certain definitions in UCITS directive. This formal mandate takes into account the fact that CESR needs sufficient time to prepare and deliver its technical advice.

To respect the necessary deadlines, the current mandate should be completed by October 2005. A working document should be issued by December 2005.
