CEBS has published its feedback document and final version of the Public Statement of Consultation Practices. The paper outlines standard steps and timelines that CEBS is to follow in its consultation processes. This feedback statement will describe the main reaction to the more important issues raised in the reactions.
The main issues on which comments were received include the timeline of the consultation process, discretionary phrases used to give CEBS leeway in consultation processes, consultation on supervisory cooperation, relative weighting of responses, translations of consultation papers, and the work program.
