A report providing a brief overview of the main issues presented and discussed at the consumer credit statistics workshop has been published.
High quality statistics are essential to accurately size the European consumer credit market, ensure consumer credit providers are able to make informed decisions, and allow policy-makers to assess the potential impacts of regulation in the sector.

The workshop was attended by over 30 experts from nine European countries, including representatives of the European Central Bank, national central banks and statistical institutions, EU institutions and consumer credit practitioners.
