ESMA has published an update of its Questions & Answers (Q&A) document regarding the implementation of the European Markets Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR).
As part of ESMA’s statutory role to build a common supervisory culture by promoting common supervisory approaches and practices, it has published a Q&As document on the consistent application of EMIR. The first version of this document was published on 20 March 2013, subsequent updates have been published on a regular basis. This document is expected to be updated and expanded as and when appropriate.
