The Commission issued a working document on the methods for reporting transactions in financial instruments such as bonds. The draft document, which has been drawn up following consultation with the Committee of European Securities Regulators, covers only part of the measures that the Commission intends to adopt.
In particular, it refers to the information companies are required to provide to authorities, the determination of the most relevant market, the conditions that trade matching and reporting systems have to comply with and the obligation for competent authorities to exchange information.
