Response to the Financial Crisis - Supervisory aspects
The Delarosière-Group Report
The high level expert group chaired by Jacques de Larosière will present its report on 25 February. The Commission will, on 4 March, set out its view of the way forward, as part of its package of proposals to the Spring European Council on 19-20 March.
The group should consider in particular how the supervision of European financial institutions and markets should best be organised, how to strengthen European co-operation on financial stability oversight, early warning mechanisms and crisis management, and how supervisors should co-operate with other major jurisdictions to help safeguard financial stability at the global level.
