Asset management firms have long played a key role in connecting those who need capital with those seeking a return on capital. It is right that the paper asks how the ordinary citizen as well as the largest institution can contribute to, and benefit from, sustainable growth as it gradually returns to the European economy. As agents of millions of retail and institutional clients in Europe and beyond, UK asset managers will play an active role in the debate.”
