-On its 13 December meeting ECOFIN agreed unanimously that the text of the proposed Directive on Savings Taxation represents the entirety of the provisions for the taxation of savings for the purpose of negotiating with the third countries.
Also the Council unanimously reached an orientation agreement on the proposals for a Directive on Market Abuse and the Directive on Financial Collaterals.
Furthermore the Council agreed a general orientation on a proposed Regulation on International Accounting Standards.
