-FEFSI (Fédération Européenne des Fonds et Sociétés d'Investissement) has presented the results of the European investment funds industry.
Among others the report states a renewed interest of European investors in equity investment within the fourth quarter of 2001. At the same time, the continued inflows into bond funds indicate that investors also appreciate the greater security of bonds, whereas the increased investment in money market funds suggests that some investors need more certainty before finding which of the funds is most appropriate for them.
