The Commission issued the report on the hearing on the Green Paper on Retail Financial Services of 19 September 2007
The report lays out the conclusions of the Hearing on Retail Financial Services held on 19 September 2007. The Hearing brought to a close the consultation process on the Green Paper on Retail Financial Services which the Commission had published on 2 May 2007. This consultation is a key component of the Commission's Better Regulation agenda.
Each of three sessions, focusing on the three key themes of the Green Paper, were opened with addresses from keynote speakers. Debates were then held between stakeholders.
