Finland’s six-month EU Presidency will begin on 1 July 2006 and both the Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen and the Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja will be giving press conferences on the Presidency before then.
Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja is due to present the Presidency Programme at a press conference in Brussels on Thursday, 29 June. Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen will hold a press conference on Finland's EU Presidency in Helsinki on Friday, 30 June.
