Against a backdrop of ongoing turbulence in capital markets, the ECBC European Covered Bond Fact Book 2010 reveals an optimistic outlook for covered bonds. Continued expansion, increased recognition and new legislative considerations are positive results of the cooperative approach taken by the industry in the last 12 months – representing within this a valuable building block in the ongoing construction of a solid and resilient covered bond market.
Following in the successful wake of the previous four editions, the fifth edition of the ECBC Fact Book delves further into the developments and focus points of 2009, examining through five detailed chapters to collate what has become a well established, comprehensive source of information on the asset class.
The hard copy of the Fact Book will be presented at the ECBC Plenary meeting to be held on Wednesday, 22nd of September in Zurich.
