EFRAG published feedback statement on its proactive work

EFRAG hat seine Stellungnahme zur öffentlichen Konsultation auf seine proaktive Arbeit veröffentlicht. Das Feedback-Statement enthält eine Zusammenfassung der eingegangenen Stellungnahmen, zusammen mit den EFRAG Antworten und vorgeschlagenen Maßnahmen.


The consultation attracted 20 responses from across Europe. Overall respondents were supportive of EFRAG’s proactive work and reinforced its importance as one of our core activities. Whilst it is acknowledged that the comments received may not necessarily be representative of European constituents at large, it provides a useful input to reflect on and use to assist in formulating the nature of proactive work in the future.

EFRAG Chairman, Françoise Flores, said that “we were very encouraged by the response and have heard loud and clearly the message that we need to ensure that our proactive work is focused, practical and reaches the widest possible audience. Our ambition remains for Europe to be at the forefront of developments in financial reporting”.

The EFRAG Planning and Resources Committee will continue to consider the comments received. It is expected the future proactive work programme will be finalised in the first quarter of 2011.
