Education sessions are public 
FASB  meetings that allow Board members to learn about financial reporting issues expected to be discussed at an upcoming decision-making meeting and to consider alternative ways of addressing them. Education sessions are usually held one week before a public Board meeting is held on that same topic; no official 
FASB  decisions are made at education sessions. In December, the 
FAF  began video web casts of all 
FASB  decision-making meetings. 
The first 
FASB  education sessions to be video web cast are scheduled to take place on Wednesday, March 9 following the weekly Board meeting.
