Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union?

Graham Bishop speech notes for the Federal Trust debate on the UK's EU membership.

This Federal Trust event was jointly organised with Global Britain, an association which believes the UK should leave the EU. It mirrored the UK EU referendum question and featured three speakers from each side followed by a question and answer session.

On the Remain side, Graham Bishop gave a speech - that you can download below; - along with Laura Sandys, former MP and Chair of the European Movement; and Professor Stephen Haseler, Director, at the Global Policy Institute.

The speakers arguing to leave were Lord Lawson, Chairman at Vote Leave; Prof Alan Sked, Emeritus Professor of International History at the London School of Economics; and Ewen Stewart, Founding Director of Walbrook Economics and Consulting Director of Global Britain.
