Letter of Hungarian Minister György Matolcsy to Mr Olli Rehn

In a letter to VP Rehn, the Hungarian Minister for National Economy, György Matolcsy, gave the government's feedback on the Autumn Forecast for Hungary, published by the Commission on 7 November.

The Ministry's assessment is that the Autumn Forecast for Hungary constitutes an important step towards reaching its goal to have the EDP abrogated in the first half of 2013. The Hungarian government is strongly committed to providing for any additional revenue in the 2013 budget that will counterbalance the budgetary gap to be identified by the Commission in its Autumn Forecast.

Mr Matolcsi details the corrective measures that the Hungarian government will undertake as a result of the assessment.
