CEIOPS and the NAIC endorse Memorandum of Understanding

CEIOPS and NAIC, the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, endorsed a model Memorandum of Understanding to facilitate the information exchange between EU/EEA and US supervisors. This MoU will form the basis for the cooperation of individual Supervisors in the supervision of transatlantic Insurance groups.

The model MOU will be implemented through continued collaboration between CEIOPS and the NAIC to ensure that agreements are completed between supervisors of insurers doing business across the Atlantic and their domestic lead supervisors.
