Another update refers to a call for colleges to share their views on how European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) could provide analytical and technical support for an efficient and secure exchange of information within colleges.
The input received from colleges will be part of a wider initiative on the creation of a "European database" for reports and analytics for the benefit of national competent authorities.
The document also outlines a two-fold approach for setting the themes for colleges in 2017: themes will not only be collected from college members so as to reflect their specific needs and facilitate the functioning of colleges, but also from EIOPA's annual work programme, which aims to support consistent supervision across Europe.
