CEIOPS issued its reply on the Commission consultation document on ADR schemes. The Committee encourages any attempt to fill the gaps in the European framework as to consistent consumer protection provisions and networks in the context of the development of the single market.
CEIOPS strongly believes that, in the context of the development of the single market in insurance, it is important that all complaints from consumers are dealt with by the relevant complaints handling body.
The present CEIOPS reply comprises the answers given by 19 Members.
