ECON delegation visit to CESR

A delegation of Members of the European Parliament from the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON) visited CESR at its head quarters in Paris to discuss the work of the Committee. Discussion focused in particular on the structure and working methods of CESR. Also considered were CESR’s advices on MiFID, as well as CESR’s recent work on Credit Rating Agencies. In addition, the efforts implemented by CESR to improve enforcement of financial information and the initiatives to strengthen enforcement through the CESR network were also covered.
