Formal Mandate for Technical Advice on Market Abuse Directive

The European Commission declared in this document the mandates given to CESR on 18 March 2002 becoming formal and invites CESR to confirm by the end of January 2003 if intends to change its provisional advice. DG Internal Market considers that the content of the provisional request sent to CESR on 27 March 2002 is in line with the text of the Directive. Therefore, all subjects of the provisional request for technical advice can remain without change.
