McCreevy does not rule out interchange fee

Speaking on the National Payments Conference in Dublin, McCreevy called for ‘a realistic timeline’ for the full completion of the SEPA project. On the SEPA governance he noted that “further reflection” may be needed on how to incorporate the user consultation into EPC decision-making.

 

McCreevy finally announced that the Expert Group on e-Invoicing will come forward with a "European Electronic Invoicing Framework" (EEIF) by 2009.
