ESMA updates AIFMD Q&A

ESMA published an updated questions and answers document on the application of the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive.

The Q&A includes one updated question and answer on reporting obligations by non-EU AIFMs under Article 42 of the AIFMD, clarifying the circumstances under which information on EU master AIFs should be reported to competent authorities.

The purpose of the Q&A document is to promote common supervisory approaches and practices in the application of the AIFMD and its implementing measures.
