The Preliminary Report the EU Carbon Market presents an overview of the financial regulatory environment for the carbon market under MAR, MiFID II and EMIR and the tools available to securities supervisors to fulfil their responsibilities. This month as also been the first month in office of our new Chair, Verena Ross. She had several Board meetings, exchanges of views with EU Commissioner Mairead McGuinness and the European Central Bank’s President Christine Lagarde.
