Workshop on ISD - Internalisation

An internal workshop on the forthcoming Investment Services Directive jointly organised by the European Savings Banks Group (ESBG) and the European Policy Centre (EPC) took place in Brussels on 02 April. Graham Bishop, senior advisor to the EPC, moderated the debate on the merits and demerits of internalisation within the ISD. Participants included major traders from UK and continental investment banks, savings banks, regulators, European Commission officials and MEPs.
