CESR/ESCB Draft Standards for Securities Clearing and Settlement

The ESCB-CESR Working Group published the draft standards for Securities Clearing and Settlement in the European Union taking into account the comments received during the last consultation. ESCB-CESR received conflicting comments with regard to Standard 6 on the regulation of CSDs, and on Standard 9 on the management of credit exposures.
