Giovannini Barrier 3 - Common Deliverables on Mandatory Distributions

The EBF released a document which contains a set of deliverables to remove Giovannini barrier 3 related to Corporate Actions. The document covers mandatory distributions and encompasses ECSAs’ recommendations on cash dividends, interest payments and events including securities distributions and ECSDA’s response to Giovannini Barrier 3 on Mandatory Distributions.

The deliverables apply to securities eligible in at least one CSD and listed on at least one official trading place, even if they are also traded OTC.

A monitoring dashboard has been created based on the common deliverables to monitor the implementation of the deliverables country per country.
