CII summary of recent FSA papers on the RDR

This CII Policy Briefing provides a summary of all the recent FSA documents relevant to the implementation of the Retail Distribution Review which takes effect at the end of the year.
On 27 February 2012, the FSA published three papers that are relevant to the implementation of the Retail Distribution Review (RDR) which takes effect at the end of this year:

a guidance consultation on independent vs restricted advice - view;

a policy Statement on legacy assets - view;

and a guidance on Distributor-Influenced Funds - view.
The regulator also published some other papers, including an RDR update newsletter, top Q&As about RDR implementation, and a Handbook update. This note provides a summary of all these documents.
