Extension of CESR mandate deadline on Prospectuses

In a letter to the CESR’s President the European Commission granted the extension of the deadline to deliver its technical advice on possible implementing measures for the future Prospectus Directive.

“In the present context” the letter states, “the European Parliament has not started its second reading on the prospectus proposal yet”. Therefore, the mandate was extended to 31 July 2003.
