Commission recommendations of prudential supervisory system in the EU

The Commission published a paper on the design of a future prudential supervisory system in the EU. The paper sets out the Commission Services’ tentative views on the overall design of a future EU solvency system. The recommendations are, however, subject to change in the light of the IC orientation debate.

Towards the end of the paper, the Commission Services comment on future work to be undertaken in phase 2 of the Solvency II project.
