IAIS: Guidance paper on investment risk management

This paper provides guidance on effective investment risk management for insurers and re-insurers and highlights issues applicable to the management of market risk, credit risk, and liquidity risk. The paper also provides guidance for the supervisor when evaluating investment risk management policies and practices of insurers, including the main sets of data and documents the supervisor should consider when assessing and monitoring the investment risk management of insurers.
