EIOPA publishes first set of Questions & Answers on the Application of the Insurance Distribution Directive

The EIOPA published the first set of Questions & Answers providing practical guidance on the application of the Insurance Distribution Directive and its implementing regulations.

The Q&As are split into 2 areas:

• Q&As for requirements for the Product Oversight and Governance arrangements and
• Q&As on the additional regulatory requirements for Insurance-based Investment Products.

These questions were raised by different stakeholders. EIOPA will continue to address and subsequently publish the answers to further questions.

For future questions stakeholders are kindly requested to submit them via EIOPA's online tool.
