CEIOPS third wave of specific calls for advice on solvency II

At the meeting of the Incurance Committee on 8 April 2005, members agreed the third wave of specific calls for advice to CEIOPS. The third wave includes as areas of the Solvency II project among others the issue of eligible elements to cover the capital requirements, cooperation between supervisory authorities, and supervisory reporting and public disclosure.

Regular reports should be provided to the Commission at four monthly intervals. Technical advice under the third wave of specific calls for advice shouldbe provided by 28 February 2006. Comments can be sent to CEIOPS by 15 September 2005.
