CEIOPS draft advice on capital add-ons for solo and group undertakings

CIOPS released a consultation paper concerning its Draft Advice to the Commission in the framework of the Solvency II project on Pillar II capital add-ons for solo and group undertakings.

CEIOPS supports the inclusion of further high-level principles on the application of a capital add-on in the future Framework Directive and proposes to follow a step by step approach for the implementation.

Deadline for consultation is 12 January 2007.
