EFAMA welcomes Commission’s exposure draft on UCITS

EFAMA welcomes the Commission’s Exposure Draft on adjustments to the UCITS Directive. EFAMA is particularly pleased by the fact that the Commission’s orientations provide for new legislation regarding all priorities of the industry. EFAMA underlined its support this legislative initiative throughout the whole procedure in Parliament and Council.

However, “whilst at a first glance EFAMA agrees to a large extent with the Commission’s proposals, the Exposure Draft is a complex document which will need to be studied carefully before any final judgement can be given”, the Association states.
