IASB extends deadline for comment on fair value measurements

The IASB extended the period for public comment on the discussion paper Fair Value Measurements until 4 May 2007. The discussion paper was published on 30 November 2006. The IASB originally requested comments by 2 April 2007. However, constituents have requested more time, given the significance of the issues raised in the discussion paper. The IASB considered these requests and has decided to extend the comment period.
