Accountancy Europe CEO on CCCTB at the European Parliament’s ECON Committee hearing

Accountancy Europe CEO, Olivier Boutellis-Taft, at the public hearing on the Common Consolidated Corporate Tax Base (CCCTB), organised by the European Parliament’s Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON).

Olivier acknowledged the benefits of the CCCTB as a tool to reduce the tax avoidance and to help SMEs thrive, but also the challenges this might represent for the member states for which tax competitiveness is a cornerstone of their economy.
