FSAP eighth progress report

The Commission published the eighth progress report on the Financial Services Action Plan (FSAP). The report concludes that the overall financial outlook strengthens the political case for integrating financial services within the EU. The final deadline for the adoption of the remaining legislative measures is April 2004 with the implementation of the FSAP by 2005.
