-The European Parliament confirmed as first reading the report of
Ria Oomen-Ruijten voted on 05.05.1999 on the proposal for a directive on the distance marketing of consumer financial services the numbering of the legal base of which has changed following the entry into force of the Amsterdam Treaty.
