ALFI responded to European Supervisory Authorities’ (ESAs) consultation paper on DORA draft regulatory technical to further harmonise ICT risk management tools, methods, processes and policies as mandated under Articles 15 and 16(3) of Regulation (EU) 2022/2554.

On Monday 19 June, the ESAs launched a public consultation on the first batch of policy products under the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). This includes four draft regulatory technical standards (RTS) and one set of draft implementing technical standards (ITS). The ESAs’ mandates under Article 15 and Article 16(3) of DORA both relate to the area of ICT risk management framework by detailing specific elements applicable to the financial entities in accordance with Article 15 of DORA or by designing the simplified ICT risk management framework for the financial entities set out in Article 16(1) of the same regulation.
