BaFin released its latest Quarterly newsletter which covers the cooperation of European financial supervisors across sector boundaries. BaFinQuarterly also interviewed Thomas Schmitz-Lippert, BaFin's Head of International Department, about the likelihood of a single European Financial Supervisory Authority.

 

Topics also include the US subprime market crises, and the Germany Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), which was introduced at the beginning of this year.
