On Wednesday 16 April, in a Council session the Ministers will discuss issues related to industry. The morning session will focus on policy relating to small and medium-sized enterprises. Slovenia will pinpoint the challenges faced by small and medium-sized enterprises in their growth phase. The discussion will contribute to the European Charter for Small Enterprises initiative intended to boost the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises. In the afternoon, the Ministers will discuss sustainable industrial policy. In view of the fact that, in spring, the Commission intends to present an action plan on this subject, the discussion will be a good opportunity to exchange opinions.
