The SEC extended the ban on short-selling in the shares of more than 800 financial companies until after Congress enacts the financial bailout plan.
The SEC extended the ban on short-selling in the shares of more than 800 financial companies until after Congress enacts the massive financial bailout plan. The ban was to expire Thursday and will now last until 17 October.
