Call for papers for the 2nd EBA policy research workshop

The EBA launched a call for research papers in view of its second policy research workshop taking place on 14-15 November in London on the topic: "How to regulate and resolve systemically important banks". Submission deadline is 21 June, 2013.

The workshop aims at bringing together economists from national supervisory authorities and leading academics to stimulate the discussion on the design and impact of the various proposals currently being discussed at EU and global level on systemically important banks.

In preparation for the workshop, the EBA invites all interested parties and especially researchers from supervisory authorities and central banks, to submit their papers for presentation at the workshop. The submission deadline is 21 June, 2013. Papers will be selected by a programme committee established for the workshop.

The 2nd EBA research workshop aims to bring together economists from national supervisory authorities and leading academics to stimulate the discussion on the design and impact of these proposals. The organisers are inviting the submission of policy-oriented – preferably empirical – research papers in this area. Researchers from supervisory authorities and central banks are particularly encouraged to submit their papers for presentation. Submissions of papers are welcome on the following topics in particular:
