Welcome to 2015

I have decided to make it easier to eye-ball the variety of subjects that I cover in these brief Blogs by moving to individual postings, rather than a now very-lengthy rolling list.

This will be another momentous year for the EU as the now long-running financial crisis continues to unfold.

Sadly, I have to start 2015 with a very gloomy note about the UK where I feel the political class is (perhpas wilfully) looking the other way, rather than explain to the electorate the frighening implications of a current acccount deficit that has now reached 6% of GDP.
