FSPG discusses progress on implementing Action Plan and the impact of the events in US on financial services policy.
The Group concentrated on the Giovannini Report on clearing and settlement, a final report by the Belgian Council Presidency and an oral report by the forthcoming Spanish Presidency, the Fifth Progress Report on the Financial Services Action Plan, and the impact of 11 September on financial services policy.
